{"id":6231,"date":"2022-09-24T17:46:51","date_gmt":"2022-09-24T17:46:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.fluxo.si\/?p=6231"},"modified":"2023-02-05T15:28:33","modified_gmt":"2023-02-05T15:28:33","slug":"fluxo-entrega-vcu-de-alemoa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.fluxo.si\/en\/newsletter\/45\/fluxo-entrega-vcu-de-alemoa\/","title":{"rendered":"FLUXO delivers VCU from Alemoa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This is one of the three units acquired by Transpetro<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transpetro hired FLUXO to erect and assemble three Steam Combustion Units (UCVs), in three of its main maritime terminals: Santos Waterway Terminal (TASAN\/ALEMOA), S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o Waterway Terminal (TASSE\/TEBAR) and Barra do Riacho Waterway Terminal (TABR).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These terminals are responsible for the supplies to and shipments from the following terminals and refineries:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>TASAN - Presidente Bernardes Refinery (RPBC), and Cubat\u00e3o Onshore Terminal;<\/li><li>TASSE - Paul\u00ednia Refinery (REPLAN), Vale do Para\u00edba  Refinery (REVAP), Capuava  Refinery (RECAP), and Presidente Bernardes Refinery (RPBC).<\/li><li>TABR - Cacimbas Gas Treatment Unit (UTGC).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first to be delivered was the UCV at the Santos Waterway Terminal (TASAN\/ALEMOA), responsible for the depletion of VOC vapors from shipments made on piers 1 and 2 at the Santos Terminal, which in turn is managed by Companhia de Docas do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo (CODESP).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this contract, besides the installation of the Vapor Combustion Unit, FLUXO was also responsible for reconditioning a 1.1km long 18\" pipe run, through which the VOC vapors are sent from the piers to the Vapor Combustion Unit, for appropriate depletion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Vapor Combustion Unit equipment is responsible for depleting the volatile organic compound (VOC) vapors from fuels emanating into the atmosphere during tanker loading operations. The VCU combustion chamber heats up to a temperature of 800\u00b0C to burn and deplete the vapors, thus ensuring the complete combustion of the compounds and reducing the environmental impacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Large cargo movements in the VCUS of TABR and TEBAR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o Waterway Terminal, FLUXO carried out a remarkable load movement for the installation of the VCU vapor combustion tower at the PL3 setback of the pier, owned by Transpetro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cargo was handled using a ferryboat with an onboard hoist hired by FLUXO, which coordinated the whole operation.
