The desalter is of the bi-electric type and will be transported by land to Canoas-RS, where Refap is located.<\/p>\n<p>Weighing 75 tons, built in ASTM 516-Gr 70 steel and with gigantic dimensions (4.5m in diameter by 16m in length), the desalter will guarantee Refap oil treated with 0.3% BS&amp;W (basic sediments and water) and maximum salt of 30 mg\/l.<\/p>\n<p>The equipment will process ten thousand m\u00b3 of oil daily, equivalent to one third of Refap&#039;s total capacity.
